Anicka Yi is a New York based artist, perfumer and writer. Her work has been shown in various project spaces in London and Los Angeles. Her writing has been published in Big Magazine, Pacemaker and The Face Magazine. Recently, she has produced with Circular File, three half-hour television shows that will premiere new artist videos, interspersed with in-studio interviews, discussions and performances for Performa 09.
Amy Yao received her MFA in Sculpture in 2007 from Yale University School of Art, and BFA with Honors in 1999 from Art Center College of Design. Group and solo exhibitions include B’L’ing HQ, Art in General, New York, NY (2008), Into Infinity, DubLab, Los Angeles, CA (2008), Fake Space Space is a Place, Portland Institute of Contemporary Art, Portland, OR (2007), and High Desert Test Sites (Curated by Andrea Zittel), Joshua Tree, CA.
Tatiana Hamilton lives and works in New York, NY. In 2006 she received an MFA from the Bard/ICP Program in Advanced Photographic Studies, where she was a recipient of the Lisette Modell Foundation scholarship. Since then her work has been featured in a number of New York City and Brooklyn venues. Her video “Cooking Chanel” was screened as part of the Circular File Channel project during the Perfoma ’09 biennial.
